Rather than complain about the glitches in FS9, I decided to utilize this one instead. The lake is real, but the strips are not. This will only work using the default mesh.

Requirements:
You will need LAGO's FSE to view the scenery items. It is available here:
Paste the "Arkansas Millwood Municipal PVMM" folder into your "FS9/Addon Scenery" folder.
Open the "FS9 LAGO Common Sounds" folder and paste the loose .SC file into your "Flight Simulator 9\LAGO\Common\Sounds"
Open the "FS9 LAGO FSE Data" folder and paste the loose .SE2 files into your "Flight Simulator 9\LAGO\FSE\Data" folder.
Open the "Flights" folder and paste the loose .FLT and .WX files in your C:\Documents and Settings\(Your Name)\My Documents\Flight Simulator Files folder.
That's it. Now add your new scenery to the FS9 library in the usual manner and have some fun.
